This old Carl Schlieper is a favourite Old Friend, very kindly gifted to me by my pal Duncan Campbellclanman , must be about a decade ago now

I'll take this to the pancake breakfast in the park on Monday. Mom bought it back in the '80s.

Although this is not technically old, every time i feel it in my pocket or pick it up from my box it feels like an old friend. This makes me think of everyone on here and the great friendships and kindness you all show.

Carrying this Waynorth Black Jack #86 today, a treasured knife I haven't carried for a couple of months

I won't actually be carrying this, but it goes way back. Dad bought it at the flea market I don't know how many decades ago, four or five?

There's a good two inches missing, if this is the right sheath.

My problem is, if I decide to carry a treasured knife, I’ll pack a regular too…Incase I need a knife

I've owned this knife for about 60 years, and it gets used weekly, sitting on my reloading bench for whatever task is at hand.
It truly is a faithful old friend.
