  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

"Old Knives"

John, wonderful Jumbo Jack:thumbsup:  It does look like a handful! Boker who owned Valley Forge started adding the VF in a circle in 1916 with a curved tang stamp. The straight line tang stamps with no VF in a circle are older knives or made prior to 1916. Boker bought Valley Forge in 1902.

Thank you for the information Lloyd, helps a lot. This one I posted earlier has the straight line with no VF.

That Boker USA looks like it could have been made in the Valley Forge factory.

Fantastic lineup of pruned folders Charlie. That New York looks like carved bone or would that be considered “scratted parchment bone?”
