Nice Pen, rddp!!Here is a true "pen knife". Real tortoise and ready to trim a quill pen. There's a name scratched into the scale but I can't read it. I thought the "To Her Majesty" was interesting.
Happy Friday All !!
Thanks, Mike!!Dang Charlie, that is a sweet knife!!
Sweet Hobo, John!! Makes me want to hit the open road so I can use one!!!!!Added a very nice condition Hobo knife to the pile. Most likely Camillus made with the butter knife blade profile, Tang stamped Hibbard Spencer Bartlett and Co, pretty sure fairly early WW1 era with the hammered pins, has great bone.
Nice Pen, rddp!!
Your slim knife reminded me I have this one stashed away!! 3 1/4"long, and less than 3/8" abeam, it is strikingly skinny!! All tangs marked, with Joseph Rodgers&Sons stamped on the blade; and Cutlers to Her Majesty on one tang, it is probably Victorian - late Victorian, as it is marked England!!!!
Black Horn handles!!!

That is a stunner. I'd keep that one in the safe ....I am a sucker for Hobo knives but ONLY if the spoon is a spoon with some belly. These "Hobo" knives with barely a spoon are not for me.Added a very nice condition Hobo knife to the pile. Most likely Camillus made with the butter knife blade profile, Tang stamped Hibbard Spencer Bartlett and Co, pretty sure fairly early WW1 era with the hammered pins, has great bone.
