Pretty nice big heavy sleeveboard double spring whittler. I don't know what you call the swedge , a false edge? It has a long fine match strike pull.

The spread sheet goes on and on. It appeals to the OCD part of my brain. It's a big help when I am looking for something or want a group shot like this one.

Old Shapleigh sabre ground, nicely swedged, long pull, both blades stamped. Looks like cocobolo handles.

This Russell has been sitting in the bottom of a plastic tub for some length of time!! I think I got it at the Oregon show last year, but for the life of me, I cannot remember who I got it from???
They say, if you know you forgot something in old age that's normal for a Geezer!! If you forgot it's a knife, you're in trouble!!
I know little about Green Rivers, or fixed blades, but I like this one!!!
Perhaps someone can age it for me?? Is it a fisherman's model??
The "false" edge is not false - it's Sharp!!
