"Old Knives"

Nice!!! I wonder if it was Official BSA????
Hi all... it's my yearly pop-in LoL

Ulster did have a two blade official BSA knife, it was BSA #1504 and Ulster pattern number 243L5. I'm pretty sure it has the standard Ulster Boy Scout of America blade etch and shield. They are REALLY rare... as rare as the Mother of Pearl one that I'm still searching for ;) I've only seen an old advertisement that showed the two blade BSA #1504 and Ulster also had a three blade junior size (3-3/8" long) that was BSA #1513.

Nice to hear from you Kevin - don't be a stranger!!!
Thanks for all that useful information. Can you tell us where we can find pictures of the official BSA knives
you have mentioned???

Hi Charlie... unfortunately, the website that used to have a great collection of all the BSA knives is not operational anymore but I did find this one just now and it does show a picture of an Ulster 2-blade that looks to be a "beer jack" :D

These are my best examples of the BSA #1128 (SeaScout), BSA #1502 (3-5/8" w/ Bolster Lines 1927-1940), BSA #1502 (3-5/8" no Bolster Lines 1923-1926), BSA #1503 (3-3/8" w/ Bolster Lines 1927-1940), BSA #1503 (3-3/8" no Bolster Lines 1923-1926), and an earlier Ulster Girl Scout Knife too.

Hey, Kevin!

That SeaScout is amazing!

I feel honored to be a guardian of these two!! An Ulster, with it's original box and etch!!!View attachment 3049522
And this 3-blade Remington!!!View attachment 3049523
Also, still etched!! 😁
My example of the Remington RS3333...

I know Remington made a special Boy Scout "Be Prepared" emblem on their iconic acorn shield for the BSA knives that included punches too; I imagine those were earlier ones and later, to stay competitive, they made the round shield.
