My HB is the only folder I have seen, and some suggest it was a contract knife from Boker!! The punch looks like a Valley Forge!!

Stunning Harness Jacks Charlie- Thank you for sharing them- Wow factor, all of them right there! Classic Valley Forge Charlie- fantastic Punches aren't they. I agree that Boker's looks really close!

I have seen a couple of English Punches that have a very deep trench - face-side, very much like the Valley Forge Charlie- one was on an English Cattle Knife or Scout that you shared with us not so long ago (I cannot remember what thread it was?) I remember it having a punch similar.

Here is a Ibberson Punch similar to Valley Forges Punch a very deep concaved face.

Hunting around for Schrade Cut knives, I came across this goodly-sized Jack I do not remember!! At 3 13/16ths, it reminds me of my Black Jack, hefty and snappy!! A check in the bone near the end bolster does not seem to be much of a crack!! What a nice knife to carry!!! The knife sure seems to be made by Schrade, (or NYK)!!! The tang reads D.&S. (over) WALDEN (over)N.Y. !!!
A nice big Jack!!!

The punch has a large rolled-over ledge similar to an NYK, but not laminated like their punches!
This knife is one of my absolute favorites of knives that I hope will be preserved for lifetimes!!
 
I picked up this old Ulster Dwight Divine pruning/budding knife recently 🙂 I've never seen a knife like this where the bone itself was formed/shaped into the budding tool, usually the tool on the end is some other material like plastic. I consulted on old friend and his catalogs say it was only made by Ulster from 1913 to 1915 and he sent me a pic from the catalog.Pruning Ulster 1915 (2).jpg

What a knife! man what bone!!! I'm under that same understanding that they were Schrade made. I had suspected that because the similarities are on point with Schrade. I love that you provide the ephemara. I have a Schrade Walden that very similar to the 965 model shown in the old catalog but my Schrade has definatley been reworked but done right nonetheless. I'll have to dig it out and compare for myself, then post.

I can see why you like it so much. That jigged bone is the bee’s knees.
