"Old Knives"

Here is an old Fabyan Knife Company 3 3/8" Swayback. Fabyan was a short lived wholesale importer late 1880's to early 1890's. Imported mostly from Germany and England. No country of origin on tangs so I will assume it is pre 1891.
This one is "very" nice! :)

Paul,

that gunstock is great looking! I haven´t tried the pattern yet. Really a good looking oldie :)

More? Sure, my pleasure! Here is a Remington R2053, just shy of 3-3/8" I don't think it saw much use over the years.

Paul Great looking knives buddy, I really like that Gunstock jack a lot.. Van Camp Hdw. owned Capitol Cut Co. c1904-1948
in Philly. But not sure who made the knives. Kind of looks like a Winchester Gunstock...imho.???

Thanks Jason. I like that KA BAR you posted on the previous page. Here is another unusual KA BAR. 3 5/8" slim swell center jack with a small clip secondary marked Union Cut Co, Olean, NY, USA.
I haven't seen another like it.

This thread is heating up! Love the Fayban and I have never seen a swell center jack knife.

Paul, that grind on the main blade of your Summit knife is killer. I wonder what company made that one? The bone looks like NYK Co.

Mike I was thinking the same thing in regards to maker of the Summit, sure has NYK Co characteristics.
