"Old Knives"

I've got a Hoffritz from the Bay some time back. Described as stag but it's some kind of very weathered bone or even composite.. It's a Serp pen single spring with sabre ground master. Rather scruffy and gappy but it's got fantastic steel and W&T. Been thinking about having it re-handled as it isn't rare or valuable.

I'd re handle the knife. Mike

Here's a cool knife I got off of the bay yesterday...a Coca Cola knife. I've been looking for one and finally found one at a great price.

Here is one of my favorites and apparently someone else's also by the pocketworn handles.

It has the longest pruning blade of any of my knives of this pattern.And that is not all.

Pay particular attention to the stamping on this nkife.

Sorry to quote all the pictures (I normally get annoyed when people do that), but I can't help it this time.
This is probably the coolest old pocket knife I've seen in years. So unique, from one of my favorite old classic makers, and the typo'd stamp is to die for!
(If you ever, ever, ever want to part with this one, please let me know, so I can sell my car. )

Yes, that Ulster is a sensation. Bone is transluscent from wear, must have seen a lot of work!

Here's a new old stock Northfield single blade jack knife. It was found still wrapped up in the original
brown paper.... Just had s small amount of surface rust on the bolster. little on top of the blade.

Here's the only picture that came out descent..lol. old Boker 3-3/4 Coke
bottle jack knife. Still has blade etching, looks like somebody hit it on a grinder??
