Thanks Tom - I´m still curious about their makers/cutleries... I don´t know if it is ebony, but it could be at least the grain looks like it. It´s heavily used, but not abused. The bone handled one has no backspring left, so it will have it´s well earned retirement in my collection :D

Holley Mfg. Co. 3 1/4"

Here is a fine old American knife making name you don't see very often. This one dates 1900-20. Other than the blades being worn down a bit this knife is in great condition. All blades snap sharply, no cracks or chips in the covers, it was obviously well cared for while being used for a long time.

Great old knife, Brad! Love that nail file.

Andi, is that cyrillic lettering on the Ebony knife? Could be Russian or Serbian?

Regards, Will

Hi Will!

Yes, that cyrillic, it´s bulgarian. I made a thread about this knife on BRL Forums for identifaction. This seemed to be a pretty common brand in EasternEurope. I´m still wonderin how it made its way to a bavarian fleamarket... however .... the Solingen made knife is more mysterious somehow.... :)

Humpa,
Here's a WW2 bring back that looks like your knife. This one is a Garantie, Soligen

Wazu, thanks for your help, Sir!

It´s pretty the similar design of the knife. Only the tang stamp seems to be different. But that´s a good way to date the knife due to its production... :)

Every help is appreciated... Thanks again.

Nice stuff! I really like that Remington jack! All three of them have wonderful blades too.

Those knives are spectacular, Tom!

Tom, All three are great examples. I like the Remington (of course) those are my favorite. But I really like that spear blade
on the Camillus Sword Brand... Good eye buddy. Congrats..

Here' something a little different! It's a G&G Cut Co. Buffalo, NY. 3-3/4 Coke Bottle Jack with a Sheeps foot main and pen secondary. Both blades have Saber grinds on the back of the blade?? That's different but it's pretty cool...imho. The action is still smooth as glass, and the snap on both blades is nice and hard. It's a nice example of a great old work knife...imho. But nobody can find any info on G&G Cut Co. It's not in Goins or LG-4. So I asked a few very knowledgeable knife guys and they didn't know and couldn't find anything! I was very surprised. If anybody knows more about G&G Cut Co. please let me know... It's one heckuva knife...imho.

Jason
