"Old Knives"

Great to find a main blade so full, also! Superb knife!

Jason - That dogleg is one heck of a knife! Love the blade grinds, great bone...what's not to love on it?

Here's an old Schrade Cut CO. Equal End Jack, 3-1/2 closed and faux Ivory handles. I liked the
different blade combo on this one... Spey blade and Sheeps foot.

Jason, great Schrade Cut Co. I had one identical to yours, one I regret selling off. But it was for the best because I never carried it and never understood why?

I spent the weekend at the Badger Show and was asked if I could or would be interested in building my version of this really nice Remington English jack. Of course! I did want to share the pictures of the knife here in this thread as it is really a nice example of Remington's best.

The knife is 4 1/4 closed and features a clip master with typical nice Remington swedging and a slender pen blade set on the mark side. Half-stops with a nice smooth pull. Fancy coined nickle silver bolsters with flat cap bolsters. The pattern number is R1343.

Beautiful knife Ken,these slim jacks are more to my liking than the beefier 4 1/2" EJs,but I like 'em both.I have an H Boker that looks a lot like this knife.

Ken Sir, I am lying in hospital, and my friend has lent me his lap-top, I turned into my awesome other family here and saw one of the most beautiful knives!!!!! what a sight for sore eyes!!, I plan to re visit and look at this beauty again - I cant believe how lovely that knife is - thank you VERY much for sharing with us.

"lying in hospital"...woah, smoke, prayers and good thoughts going out from here Duncan; hopefully it's resolved quickly. Meanwhile, enjoy those beautiful pictures, it does seem to have been a particularly good week for them on this forum.

The knife really is a nice one. Remington was on their A-game when they made this one.
