"Old Knives"

Thanks for the comments on the Case stag OB. Here is an ULSTER OB with stag that reminds me of some of the Sheffield pieces.

Bunch of great knives lately (as always actually), Charles the Case and Ulster are fantastic. S-K the J.S Holler & Co knife has great look to its age, seems it can last forever.

I am in awe looking at these fantastic knives- thank you everyone for being so great in sharing these anazing knives.

Beautiful lobsters Charles. You have a fantastic collection.

This is one of my favourite stag-handled knives.... Harrison Brothers & Howson.

Thank you Jack and Duncan.:)

Absolutely stunning. I had a red bone peanut I gave to my son to take on a cross country trip a few months ago, but he has no idea where it is now. Beautiful knives! I'm glad I have a waterproof case on my phone! Drool, you know. Definitely going to have to start searching for one of those now. I think Case would sell a ton of knives if they could replicate the red bone of that era.

Thank you Brian - it would be nice if they would make the peanuts of today like those knives. :)

Primble those Case red bone peanuts exude quality and grab your attention.

Here is my Indian Trail jigged bone Robeson OB, not as attractive color bone, but hard to find in this condition.

Charles,

Thank you for the comments.

I think the Robeson has a very beautiful bone color and the jigging is also most wonderful.

The condition of the knife is what we all hope for, when looking around. ;):)

I agree Primble - Charles's knives are absolutely outstanding -and Charles Sir- I have said it before but feel it every time I look at your so hard to find knives-especially in the condition they are in - but Thank You for sharing, it really is a privilege looking at these beautiful knives that you and our other Forum friends put up for us to look at. Fantastic stuff.

I am sure that you and SK have hit a Museum at some stage and are slowly bringing out the stash! :D:thumbup:

Love those orange blossoms, particularly the tip bolsters. All examples of such quality craftsmanship and construction.

Another beauty Charles. Thanks for showing it. :-)

Who made your jack knife CJZ?

This is a Sportsman's knife from the late 1800s. Made by John Blyde, Sheffield
