"Old Knives"

There are only a few threads I frequent - only because if the time restrictions that I have- and this Thread is most certainly one of the greats - Paul my friend - that Robeson is why this thread is so great.....
Great people showing their most treasured pieces, old knives that hold all that what you described what goes through ones mind when studying these old greats!

What a fantastic knife - when did you score that one Buddy? - Whew....now THAT is a fantastic knife, Robeson had it down to a T didnt they! - their Jigging, and Bone that they used is/was just the best - haha you have me wanting to dig out my knives......I think I will...... most probably photos to follow...
Nice knife my friend, and like our mate Gev said - great write up on it too

When I see this, it's no mystery who made this Globe

Really starting to like some of the older knives. This one feels so good in my hand. Going to have to try to figure out something else similar to buy next. Suggestions welcome.

Robeson's 027 and 029 are two of my favorite patterns.

That's a nice one.

And so is the Globe.

Need some help with this one, large over 4" single blade jack from the 1920's according to the seller,no mention of any maker. Was curious about the notch in the blade. Is it a cigar cutter? Will have to post better pics once I actually receive it.
