P.S. - If the day ever comes that I part with it, good luck to the new owner, as everyone will be sick of seeing all of the different pics of it ! ;):D

The Hatch Cutlery Co Bridgeport CT. 1886-1888 Single blade jack knife with ebony. Covers are badly chewed and cracked, knife works really well though.

Just got this odd knife. It is a gravity knife marked Safety Pocket Knife. When you push the little tabs in the handle of the knife while holding it downward the blade slides out and locks in the open position. It is 3 1/2" closed.

Very cool knife, galvanic!! I had never seen on like it before. Thanks for sharing:thumbup::thumbup:

Man, you guys come up with some beautiful vintage knives. I'm learning a lot by following this thread and developing a real appreciation for vintage pocket knives. Charles,I love that Hatch Cut Co., what a nice looking knife.
Here is my contribution for this week, found this Camillus scout knife in wonderful condition, all steel construction, nice jigged tea bone, very little wear, may even still have the factory edge and it's still sharp. I date it from 1920 to 1941 or so. Don't know where it's been sitting all these years.

I have this MSA knife. I really do not know what I have, but it looks old. I will post some pictures of the Knife and Sheath. Maybe original Sheath. Maybe someone can be so nice and tell me something.
Well I thought I could send them but The picture sender is asking me for a URL. On other sites, they allow me to pick the file on my computer to send. How come this site does not allow me to do it that way?
