Charlie, alas, if only I was retired and leaning up against a mound of knives while watching Maury Povich's TV show somewhere Way north.

Nice Knife N.S. I would say the year 1900 would put you in the ballpark +/- 10 years or so. Do you have a close up of the tang stamp? Any other markings on the tangs?

It's a nice old knife, fits up nice and tight no gaps, the wood is quite nice and the bolsters are rat tail.

I scored this one over the weekend... it's a Schrade Walden 899 I've not seen many Schrade Walden knives with a punch!
