• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

"Old Knives"

I recently picked up a nice Cut Co jack in butter & molasses (my weakness!). Some blade loss, but otherwise excellent condition.

K suffix for butter & molasses cell.
I love 'em Jeff... great find! :)

Very cool! I generally avoid buying celluloid handled knives, and might should get rid of the few I do have...and yet I picked up this butter & molasses the other day.

It's a very interesting color scheme. I tend to think about celluloid being used either to simulate a natural material, or to take advantage of its ability to look bright and sparkly. Is there some story about the origin of the b&m cell? Perhaps invented over a breakfast meeting? ;):D

Post No. 16283. Dwight's (Fodderwing) Ebony HSB above. My memory is not what it use to be...lol

I have a number of ebony oldies, here are a few of them. Perhaps the one that you remember is among this group.

I only have one ebony HSB, this dogleg:
