Ok thank youYou might need a paid membership to post pics???
I was an unpaid member for a short time--maybe a month. I can't remember if I was able to post pictures or not. But I recommend a paid membership. I started with a Basic for $10 but soon upgraded to Gold. Go for the Gold!Ok thank you
He needs a paid membership to post pics that are not hosted on a hosting site like flickr or some other. And I'm pretty sure he must be gold or above to post a non image hosted site pic. Flickr is free up to one thousand pics...open an account and copy and paste the img code into your post here and it will show upOk thank you
Somebody made themselves a double-punch jackRandy my friend- how are you? I hope you are doing well!
Randy that looks to be a Easy Opener twin bladed Jack and not an Harness Jack, both the Main and Pen Blade are sharpened down to such a manner.
A well loved knife that today still warms the heart.
Have fun and good choice, Kevin ! A real Cut above...lovely in every respect !!I have not seen many Schrade Cut Co MOP's in decent shape so I couldn't resist this whittlerVery smooth action and full snap on all blades; the file/pen blades have nice half stop too. I have my company "Holiday" party tonight and this one is going along

Hollinger Fremont OH[/QUOTEAmazing Barlow Rob.
I love the random deeper saw marks in the bone, gives it some unique character! It's rare to find such a nice knife with a tang stamp that is not in Goins catalog... more likely that Clauss made the Hollinger knife rather than vice versa. I will look around and see what I can dig up, sounds like a good research project while having coffee and watching Paladin (Have Gun Will Travel) this morning.Hollinger Fremont OH. Not much information on the net. 1905ish to 1958. I searched the porch and only found 2 examples, a few more over on aapk. If anyone has more information on Hollinger please share. Looking at pictures of a Claus barlow it looks very similar, same bolsters, same big nail nicks on both blades, both hail from Fremont OH. I wonder if Hollinger made knives for Claus or vice versa? Anyway on to this barlow and my apologies for the lackluster cell phone pictures. It's been raining since this knife arrived and supposed to rain all day again today so I stepped out to my car at lunch yesterday and snapped a few pictures. I do believe this barlow has jumped straight to my favorite of my paltry barlow collectionIt checks all the boxes for my tastes in vintage knives. Everything is crisp, it's uncleaned, full blades with the main filling the well, blades open and close like a new knife with strong pulls around a 6 or 7 with strong snaps, very well made with no gaps between liners and springs. Based on the workmanship I'm guessing this was made early on, 1920's to 30's.

Correction: I guess Hollinger is in Goins... 1905 to 1958
