This exact knife was one of my first quality knives and to this day the best I ever owned. Spyderco Lil Temp Rhino Horn. The compression lock is flawless and smooth. The rare green handles are extremely unique and a nice 440V blade (similar to s60v but not as hard). It also comes in S30V in the next few generations.

It is certainly a little big knife.
For a knife its size it does have alot of cutting power and a nice thick blade that will still slice well. Approx 4mm thick.
The blade has about 1/4 inch more cutting edge than the Manix II. Collectors club #18
The lock up arrived at about the thickness of the liner maybe 25%. :) You cannot see it in the picture but there is a tiny little 1.5 mm ricasso or choil if you call it that, at the base of the blade for sharpening. This also will not snag like the chiol on some other spyderco's

I am so excited to have this. It has been ten years since I lost mine at 18.

Have a look. Please post your discontinued spyderco knives!

Updated with current Lil Temp :)

Loved my Dodo. Should have hung on to this one but it was too nice of an example for me to use.
I'll find a user one of these days.
Oh, there are two more discontinued models below in my signature...:D ;)

The best of all a nice 440V blade (similar to s60v).

Very, very similar. So similar in fact that they are two names for the same steel.

As for my discontinued Spyderco knives, I can post a few, but there is a limit on how many I can put in a post.

Yablanowitz, what an amazing collection. I would love to see them in person. I always had a love for older designs. They seemed more pure.
Rolf, I probably wont. But if it ever goes anywhere it will be on your door step.

I would love another Lil Temperance!!

I actually made a breakthough and finally found a Pivot I can use......from a Zero Tolerance. :)

The scary part is, that's just a few that I already had pictures of uploaded. I like a lot of the older stuff, although there are some that just don't do much for me.

Sal, nice to know those projects are still moving forward. I hope they're still around in a couple of years when I get my car paid off and can afford knives again.

I was just thinking the same thing, Matt.
How can the LT1 be improved upon??

Probably the compression lock like before. Its one of my favorite locks. I would love if they could figure out how to do a flipper compression lock.
