Great job Eric. I have some nice high end materials coming to play with.
And I do agree, I want to see 3V or something like that.
I also did not know it would be made out of the US.
That make me even more happy to have found this thing. I cant wait to see how your custom rhino is coming out.

Yea I would of actually really preferred the new LT2 to be made in the Taichung or Golden factories...but I'm happy it's at least coming back.

My Rhino is making good progress. I just finished the acid and stone wash. Just sharpened the blade to a mirror edge and fixed the broken tip.

I'm not in love with my new handles as I once was so I'll be making a second set out of a new one of a kind material when I have the time.

I bought my rhino as a project to then be a user but it's becoming too pretty to want to use :/

Sunday bump.
I just went out with the wife and kids to get a christmas tree and a few presents.
Then proceeded to visit santa for a bunch of pictures. Both kids crying and afraid of this particular santa. So the pictures were very funny.

Also broke down the Lil T. Used loctite on all the screws two days ago and polished everything up. The puppy is locked into perfect action, super smooth and rock solid lock up.
This is one of those knives that keep on growing on you. Most knives just get boring quick for me. This one, "me love long time".

Any user picstures? And Eric, waiting to see yours.

Back to the GIANTS game! Yeah, they suck this year. But they have Odell Beckam JR. So that makes up for it.
 
Just picked up a new Lil temp leaf. Can't wait til it gets here.
I recounted sunk for the new pivot. Tomorrow I'll cut the new pivot to length and put it back together. Pics incoming when it's finished :)
 
Vast dissappointment....Those scales just aren't working the way I want them to so...I'm going to try to tweek them again and if I can't get it smooth like I like, then Im going to scrap them and start over....:(

I did put it back together because I just couldn't stand to see it apart for any longer...so here it is with new hardware and blade mods. Mind you the tip was broken off and I'm pretty proud of my repair

 
Looks good. The Temp is very sensitive to small errors in my experience.. Just a little off and it is either not smooth or doesn't lock up well.. Mine is great now:D

Yes I agree completely!! It's because the stop pin is almost free floating.

I agree. You need to set these puppy's perfect. But when you do and lock it in. They are fantastic how perfect they can come out.
Sorry to hear about the scales.
I am surprised how the 440v emblem has worn off the knife partially. It is basically new. I guess it is just from age?
What hardware did you need anyway. Did you just use stock parts or make new ones?
