Old school Lil Temperance Rhino/Leaf.

Yours may have the same pivot as mine. It has 16 flat edges on it for different fit each time. You know. An octagon x2 that Lock's into the liner. If yours had a D pivot that has no adjustment.

I marked mine with a marker before removing the pivot and cleaning it yesterday.

Any how , thanks for the post! Glad you pulled it out to make the adjustment .
I didn’t take out the pivot, so haven’t looked at it. Just removed the pivot screw.

As far as I know this knife is designed %100 by Sal.

However I have seen it advertised as a lum design .

Any thoughts on that.

Thanx much for the memory trip. It was a fun project. I hand carved a wood model to get to the ergos.

That's what I'm talking about. Best ergos my friend. Love the spot for the thumb on the pivot area as well.

Thanks again . Owning this is a memory trip for me as well.

I owned many of the Lil T models over the years. However my two favorites were #1 a leaf blade full SE model which I wish I still had>> #2 and I also had a Rhino-Horn version that I dearly loved and I was always baffled as to why they never made that Rhino-Horn version in SE>> that would have been a Super-Beast in SE I'm sure of it. That Rhino-Horn version with the convex, skinner type blade was a very efficient cutter.

The handle/scales on the Lil T were always among my favorite from the old School Spyder selection. It's truly one of Spyderco's "Hall of Fame", In HOUSE designs and I believe it could be back in the main line up with one of the new Supersteels and I do hope it will be there at some point. It's truly one of the very best to come out of the GOLDEN facility.

I agree 100%. No matter what. The original handle while genius and a rare color will never come back.

It is one of the few knives that you can grip with all your strength and still be comfortable to cut with like a fixed blade. Similar to the ATR. And even the Chinook up to #3. I'm beginning to feel old.

The heat treating this 15 year old blade is also stellar. Very hard but not excessively toothy .
