Old school Lil Temperance Rhino/Leaf.

I used to have one of the awsome spiderweb skeleton ones in high school. Not sure the exact one. I was an IDIOT to get rid of it. Surprised i didnt see it here.

I have gone through so much cool crap in my life that slipped out of my grasp due to some form of stupidity. I get literally sick thinking of some of the stuff i lost.

Really like these blades. Cannot wait to see what G10 version looks like! Are there any dates for availability yet?

I'm hoping that the Lil' Temp 2 has GREEN G10!

Back up.
Sal- Is the Lil Temp 2 folder about a year out from going into production or are you still improving the design?
thank you,
rolf

Bump up here.
Looking forward to trying a lil temp 2 as well.
Lets see more discontinued pics if you have them. There are some nice ones in this thread. In a perfect world I would still have my rhino , a salsa and the ATR.

I THINK the LT2 will only offer the Leaf blade.

Yeah, that would be my guess.
For me personaly, I don't see much if any advantage to having that Rhino blade, other than maybe cutting pizza, lol! But it would still be a nice surprise to see one as an option!

I was very lucky and got a LT Rhino on a trade. I think this one stays.
Good luck, Matt.

Lucky man. I will get another. Even if its leaf. I'd rather have s30v. The 440v did OK. But that's just me.

I have a Lil temp leaf arriving tomorrow. I couldn't help but come back full circle to one of the knives that started it all for me.

After 2 of the rhino and two leaf models. I realize the leaf is the better shape for EDC.

But then again why not own both. Better to have options.

The Lil Temperance, in a class by itself. Definitely a forward thinking design in so many ways. Have a leaf and rhino version, have carried the rhino model for years and years. Now just have to pick up one of the redesigned ones. One of the very few must have blades out right now IMHO.

Well, the revival of this thread inspired me to finally get around to fixing my Lil Temp.

I missed out on this knife when it first came out, but I've always really liked the design, so a couple of years ago when offered one in trade, I jumped on it. The example I received didn't look like the blade had ever been used, but it had clearly been disassembled, and the lock up wasn't great. It had a bit of lateral blade play, and when I tightened the pivot screw to eliminate that, the compression lock wouldn't engage at all. Been meaning to fix it for ages, but seeing this thread finally jolted me into getting out the dremel and removing a bit of material until it locked up properly.

Here it is below with another Golden oldie - the original Paramilitary. I look forward to finally putting this to us, about 15 years or so after first noticing the design.

Sadly, the new version does nothing for me.

Sadly, the new version does nothing for me.

Yours may have the same pivot as mine. It has 16 flat edges on it for different fit each time. You know. An octagon x2 that Lock's into the liner. If yours had a D pivot that has no adjustment.

I marked mine with a marker before removing the pivot and cleaning it yesterday.

Any how , thanks for the post! Glad you pulled it out to make the adjustment .
