It's hard to say. For today's I could have written poor guess instead of wrong guess as in retrospect the correct one seems more likely. I prefer to just wing it and not dwell on it too long.

Another 50/50 choice for me and the more obscure of the 2 was the correct choice again.
It was a pretty easy solve for me based on my 2 starter words and the 3rd guess for a Birdie 3.

However, the NYT average for this puzzle is reportedly 4.5. So, it was more difficult for others.

A rare board w/only green letters on it but still only 2 letters revealed after the 1st 2 tries.
The considered choice of the 3rd word again was important to grinding out a Par 4.
