On Playing Wordle . . .

My wife was annoyed because the answer is one of her frequently used seed words, but not today...

How many alternative seed words does she use?

How ever many there are, they each can only work once to solve a puzzle because the answer words are never repeated.
So, she should know that after one of her seed words provides the "answer," it can never provide the answer again.

She won't say and won't discuss the puzzle until she has finished it. 🀣

I guess I should say from now on . . . "the only one possible answer . . . that I could think of."

LOL! ;)
In honor of it being Star Wars Day . . .

That's gotta be frustrating.

I went fairy/dairy/hairy for a 5/6 score. πŸ™
Very close to what I figured you did when I saw your post. I figured you just worked your way through the alphabet and started with DAIRY, then FAIRY, and then HAIRY.

One of the few times recently where my second seed word was a big help, as it has an H. Otherwise . . . I would have done the same.

I thought your first seed word was ARISE, which I use. But now I am thinking it is RAISE, which I have thought of using. Not sure which one is better . . .

If I had bothered to actually "think" about it and considered FAIRY vs HAIRY ( DAIRY was already eliminated by my seed words), I would have chosen HAIRY anyway because it fits my "most obscure" word theory -- at least the way that I look at it.

As I've said before, sometimes "ignorance is bliss." LOL! ;)

I was using ARISE for a while, but I sometimes switch it up, depending on my mood, and a theory that they don't want to have two day's answers contain too many of the same letters. πŸ€”
I like something with one or two vowels and the most common consonants: ARISE, RANTS, RENTS, STARE, DRAIN...

Ooh! I just realized that RAISE might be better than ARISE, even though it contains the same letters. If more five letter words start with "R" than "A"...

A Bogey 5. :(

This one looked like a "problem" from the "get go" for me because I could immediately see after the 3rd guess that there were many possibilities based on the 3 revealed letters and their likely placement.

So, I actually took a moment to "think" about what the possibilities were and I came up with "at least" 12 but Wordle Bot says there were 16!

A lot of luck involved in this puzzle and I'm guessing that a lot of people will have trouble with it. This Bogey5 broke my streak of 31 puzzles w/o one.
The NYT average for this puzzle is 4.8.

A much easier puzzle to solve. ;)

Yes, far too many possibilities. Oh well, ya win some, ya lose some.

I believe that AROSE should be very slightly better than ARISE. But I'm loyal. πŸ˜‚

My daughter is all about the vowels. OUIJA. Different second words depending on which (if any) of her vowels show up. In the end . . . we wind up with similar results in the long term. She might do slightly better than me.
