On the Road Again with Merle

Harvested a few spiral sticks in my trimming of the woods around the house.

I let them dry before debarking normally. But it’s easier to remove captive vine when the vine is green.

The left two are dogwood. The others, cherry. Merle did most of this work, except where the finer tip of my 75 was needed.

Merle helped me size and lube some bullets I had made. These are Lee ranchdog 432-265-RF.

Applying gas checks, those on the left are sized.

Lubed and dry, ready to load. Paste wax and alox lube.
I live in Canada and I haven't spent a lot of time around firearms. Is making your own ammunition a common thing? I've never seen it before, but I respect the DIY ethos of it greatly.

Also, I'm enjoying following along with Merle's adventures!
