One knife. That's it!

Only 1 really? Pfff..Adamas? Fällkniven F1? Ah man,you know what, I'll throw common sense out the window and vote with the heart: the Buck 110

Simply because....because it's the Buck 110

Is the question what one MORE knife would I buy, if I could keep all the ones I already have? I don't know the answer to that, I'm pretty happy with what I have now.

If it's that I have to get rid of all of my knives and can only have one, existing or new, then my Victorinox Alox Cadet. I use it all the time, does what I need it to do. Anything else I can accomplish with kitchen or utility knives, or my existing Leatherman tool blades. (I am guessing your rules do not preclude having other cutting implements, just pocket knives)

Besides a grail like CRK or Strider, what would you choose? For example, if your (parents, wife) told you you could buy only one knife and that's it, what would it be and why? I'm looking for a new knife

I would get some sort of custom

Easy, a Brad Southard custom flipper ~3.25" all done up with exotic handle material/a non stainless super steel and his usual colorful anodization.

Edit- I see some people are saying no customs, in that case I choose a spyderco southard customized by me to be ~3.25".

I responded to this thread several weeks ago and my answer was a Grayman. Since then I got a Beast and while it would be very tough to decide between the two, the Beast just may edge out the Grayman. Fantastic knife and Jims customer service is second to none!

I'd go with a high end scout pattern slippy. I'm hoping GEC will get around to making one.

I only have 6 knives and this question is still incredibly difficult. I can't even fathom how hard it must be for you guys with real collections.

It would definitely be between my CS Code 4, BM 556 Mini Grip, and Spyderco Delica 4.

If forced to choose, Mini Grip because it was my first quality knife and I love the axis lock.

One knife only?
Meh!

Ok, it would have to be a knife for both work and outdoor activity, so it would be the one I EDC.
Right now that is my Fällkniven PHK, with Sambar Stag handle.

Stainless laminated powder steel at Rc 62 in the core and Rc 59 in the outer shell.
