I'm glad to hear it is all coming together. Thank you Charlie, Barry and all those on the Porch who discussed, cajoled and voted this year. It's going to be great!:thumbup:

Well guys and gals, I have some more info on the 2016 BF knife! Work has been progressing nicely behind-the-scene, and blades and springs are in heat treating. Our club knife will be going into production right after GEC's run of 77 barlow's, so in other words, it won't be long now! :):):)

A reminder: Gunstock Jack's Knives will be distributing the 2016 BF knives again this year; when a selling price is established (soon), I will post pre-sales listings for US and international sales - the price will include shipping. No other details are available right now, but Charlie or I will keep y'all up-to-date on the production status as we move along in the process.

So, in closing, I will just say: Whoo-hoooooo! These are gonna be great!

Thanks for the update Jack!!

GREAT Pics Ted!! Thank You for posting them!
So lets see we have 3 knives made by Canal street, 3 by Queen and with this years knife it will be 5 by Great Eastern. Pretty well rounded.

Oh man, I think that's the first time I've seen the 2009 Barlow. What a great looking knife with an awesome combo of blades!

Well said Dave mate, the BF Knives seem to have been so very, very well thought out - I think the line up is extremely impressive, the EO, and the Barlow are my bf knife grail's, I have had two of the EO's -and stupidly passed them on...one day...., the 2009 Barlow is my Elusive.

I really liked the grain on the 2015 BFC knife. Can't wait to see how the handles turn out this year!

Bumping this as it just appeared in GEC's production schedule. Although, it appears as "clip blade" when I thought it was going to be a spear? Typo?

Also, is length still 3.75"? Sorry if I missed some details somewhere... multiple threads with multiple pages...

I'm sure the BF specs are a typo - it will be a spear. Finished length is unknown at this time, but I am expecting drawings soon and will put them up then.

Pardon my memory, but who was the winner, aside from all of us, of the naming contest? I can live with Half Scout. Cub Scout knives are blue or white in my opinion, which is worth $.00😎. It is exciting to see a knife coming up in production, when you've had some input on it. 1st time forum knife guy, can you tell? :D
Thanks, Neal
Ps- Club Scout? 😎 ;)

Well, it has become very difficult to get a nice two-blade knife made for under $100 anymore. With apologies to all of you, this Forum knife is going to be a bit more - but not too much more.
$115 will include the shipping to the continuous United States. Barry will let you who live further away, know how much the shipping will be.
The knife will have worm-groove, jigged bone handles, and have the deluxe construction of a single spring, with a blade and punch at opposite ends.
It should ride well in a pocket!
The front and back labels are under way, as the schedule has been bumped up!
And aawwayyyy we go!!!!!
