Knife makers use micarta for lower costs of manufacture. When micarta cracks in half in second hit that's bad. Polymer handle of Glock knife can't be destroyed in same " test ". If my " review " is useless for You please don't read.

Are you even listening to what others are saying PLEASE read Kgd's post.

Your reviews are not useless they are missleading to those who have not read the real ones.

since your review has proved useless to everyone who has read it, why don't you:

a) learn to prepare and conduct an actual review, with information that
others might find useful.
-a review consists of a mixture of facts and opinions, with evidence
supporting either. "it sucks" is not fact, and as opinion has not been
supported effectively.

or

b) stop creating these nonsesical threads.

So that's why you can resharpen dull knife for 15 min.?

Yeah bud

and they can do this when I'm done

he is selectively reading, and conveniently leaving out the constructive points others have made.

views are not useless they are missleading to those who have not read the real ones.

their misleading nature, among other things, makes them useless.

remember posting this?

your friend threw your knife, an action for which is was not intended, and it broke. that does not make it a bad knife.

some guy on youtube breaks a micarta handle by hitting it with a hammer, an action for which it was not intended, and it broke. that does not make micarta a bad material.

i have owned dozens of knives with micarta handles, and have batoned, thrown, chopped, etc. i had one scale crack become separated from the tang.

cabala, please see this thread for a good example. The poster directly compared two somewhat-similar knives made of dissimilar materials.

1. He seems to have gone into it with an open mind, not an agenda.

2.He breaks each knife down by the components/manufacturing techniques used, describes their differences, and tests them in a pretty consistent manner.

3.He shares some clear findings that would actually help a less-informed person make a wise decision.

That, friends, is a good review.

Steel was CPM M4 and complete process took about 1 hour.

This is good review but on the other way. My " reviews " are just my opinions about knife that, first of all, I have and use today. That's why I know what I'm talking about.

I'm not against or for somebody ( especially manufacturers - they think only for himself ), and because of that my opinions are independent and fair.
