Doesn;t the 1095 steel the rat used rust easily...so i am guessing its not the best knife for a wet environment?

It can rust, since it's not stainless steel, but if you apply a rust inhibitor (such as Tuff Cloth) that won't happen. No steel is going to rust as soon as it hits water, so a little TLC once and a while will prevent it. It just requires a little more care than some other steels would.

In my country we use for different tasks different tool, for example, when we go to the picnic i always bring axe, saw, knife, lighter, barbecue, water... etc. Everything that i mentioned costs like one RAT knife and it isn't junk. If You think that knife will replace all of this gear i must ask You how old you are?

I don't think anyone is saying that one knife will replace all your gear. But you get what you pay for. I personally can justify spending the extra cash to get a better knife that will last a long time. If you can't, then that's your opinion, and I respect that. But to insinuate that only young (or childish, or whatever you wanna call it) people would "waste" their money on a RAT is (in my opinion) a little disrespectful. And it would make me wonder how old you are. I'm more than willing to tell you how old I am, if you willing to do the same.....

Since these knives obviously have some mythical value, i decide to make one real review with pictures, not to discard this knives then to explain my claims.

Mythical value? I don't know where you got that idea. These knives are highly regarded by most people on here because we've used them, we like them, and we think they are great knives. I have handled a great many different knives, from many different makers, and I personally consider my RAT RC3 to be one of the best in it's class.

I'm glad that you've decided to, as you put it, "Make one real review....., not to discard this knives". People are always open to hearing real reviews, regardless of what that review says. Just have enough respect for the other members here to not bash the blade without proof to backup your claims.

You hear only yourself so people like you don't need reviews. If you like it, use it. You have 18+, have you?

It's a very obvious this guy is a troll, a troll that has an agenda. On that agenda... bash Rat. I personally could care less about Ontario or Rat, I don't have any of their knives so I'm totally unbiased.

This guy is a troll, quit feeding it and it will go away. More than half the crap it says is incoherent nonsense, it probably doesn't even have a Rat3, and probably speaks english just fine. The OP is most likely an overweight 39 year old virgin of sorts.

Edit:
If any legit overweight 39 year old virgins take offense to my post, I apologize.

Non-English speaker. Really.
Troll? Maybe.
Contentious, definitely.

If the thread does not improve, I will not move it to Whine & Cheese, but I may close it. I don't want any more personal comments here. Unfortunately, the original poster is not giving us enough clear statements to respond to.

Mr. Benyamin that isn't fair at all. I write a review of explicit knife. No one have to agree with my opinion.

I have " agenda ". How to get much better knife for my money. No one gave me money back when i was unsatisfied. What stops you to do same? If i don't like knives should i buy it?

cabala, I wasn't criticizing you for making personal comments but it is difficult to understand a lot of what you post.

You hear only yourself so people like you don't need reviews. If you like it, use it. You have 18+, have you?

Uhh, first off, I value actual reviews from people who have handled the knife their talking about, and who make statements that are logical and can be backed up with facts. I do not value someone making odd, difficult to read comments about a knife they have not handled, especially when they bash it continuously. As I said before, if you make a logical argument for your position I think most of us would read your review, and even if we don't agree with it, we would consider that your educated opinion. But, as I've said before, if you've never even used the knife, then you are by no means qualified to right a review about it.

As for your other comment.... I can only assume your asking if I'm over 18, and the answer is yes. I'm almost 21, and I've been collecting knives since I was 6. I currently have almost 70 knives, 10 or so being fixed blades. I also have 3 decent swords, and one that's a piece of crap (works well as a machete however). So I think I've handled my fair share of blades, and I don't make statements or voice opinions about ones that I've not personally handled.

Now that I've answered your question, I think it's only fair that you do me the courtesy of answering mine. As I stated in my previous post, if your willing to ask the age of others, then the least you can do is tell us your age. So, how old are you?

I think Esav is giving you the benefit of the doubt, I apologize for my personal attack.
