  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Opinion: What is your favorite knife to fondle and why?

CRKT Vany Hoy Snap Lock

just look at it, its addictively fun

Can I have more than one?
My favorites would be:
Galyean Pro Series Small JYD - The smooth flipper and IKBS just makes this one a joy to flip open over and over, I love the click when it snaps open.

CRK Large Sebenza 21 - The tolerances are just so tight and the fit and finish is flawless. This knife is as close to perfect as it gets for me, so it's fun to open it and play with it. The action is so smooth as well.

Strider SNG Z-Wear - This knife is so beefy and beautiful in it's beefyness, I love the grippy G-10 and how the flamed ti looks. The knife is ridiculously smooth in every aspect. It's great to just play with and admire.

My favorite knife to play with is my HTM AO Gunhammer. Damn thing kicks like a mule. My favorite knive to fondle is my LionSteel TiSpine with a polished Blue/Purple handle. If a knife can be called sexy, it's the sexiest knife I own.

Izula 2 with the scales off for a couple YEARS now. There's something about this blade and something about bare steel(no scales) that I love. It helps that I have a deep patina on it. ;)

My favorite one to fondle is the one that is my edc for the week. Atm it is my BM Adamas that i sit and flick open and then close. I have cycled it at least 200 times since i received it. When i first got it it had the slighest up and down play but those 200+ opening took care of any play and know it locks up as solid as is possible. My main edc's are the Adamas, SR-1D, Fantoni HB-01, and my Hogue EX-02. Everyone of them get maximum fondle time when it is their turn to be carried!

William Henry Monarch BO-5, and Sbenza Damascus and Bark Mammoth Ivory. Can't keep from fondling them:

My PM2 for sure. I don't know why, but the middle finger flick is so fun.

Thwick.. click

+1 to that, love the middle finger flick, its just plain and simple fun.
Also my ritter grip and utx-70 are close seconds to that.

I love flicking open and closed this BM 300 something about the flipper/axis lock makes this knife super addicting  plus it doesn't help that it flips out smoothly and effortlessly hehe

And something I find interesting is old Traditional knives, I'm usually fondling and playing with/repairing old knives I find at flea markets and gun shows, today it's this old Shrade melon-tester, a slim beauty with a nice carbon spring :D

I'm sure my custom flipper will be when I get it. For now it's my Spyderco Persian. It's not a flicker but it's so smooth and makes the loudest "thwack" sound on lockup that I've ever heard from a knife.

I'm pretty sure everyone's favourite knife to fondle is the more expensive one that they don't have.

My best times were had with the Spyderco Military. On the liner lock models you could hold it just right to get an extra loud click when the lock engaged, CF works better than G-10.

Thanks Lincoln, yea the Beast is def one smooth knife.

The pattern is great as well, very grippy too, was surprised when I first got it.

And yea I have a pretty extensive collection, of both Production and Custom Knives.

You can check out some pictures of alot of my knives in the EDC thread.

PM2, Superleaf (just got it), Manix 2, Ontario XM1, and a CS Ti-lite more recently.
