  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Opinion: What is your favorite knife to fondle and why?

In no particular order...
Either of my Para 2s, a black on black and a brown sprint.
Barrage 581, it thwacks open with such authority and zero blade play.
My Osbourne 940. Beautifully balanced.

I have to go with sogs fat cat is so smooth and the arc lock is just great but I have to say songs spec elite mini is a very close second.

The Benchmade 300sn by far is my favorite knife to play with. I will sit at my desk at work or in the car and just open and close it for hours on end. The combo of the axis lock and flipper combined with the super smooth action makes it a joy to play with. You can open and close it one handed a variety of different ways.

This is by far one of my favorite knives i have purchased over the years and i have bought quite a lot of knives over the years, from all the major manufacturers and a quite a few customs as well.

^Agreed with Benchmade 300, suuuper smooth will own another soon ;)

And by far my favorite is the Benchmade Mini Griptilian, since I bought it it has not left my pocket and spends as much time with me flicking it and playing with it as it does in my pocket :D  really fun little blade, plus mines blue so no scared sheeple yet!

My 300sn, axis lock + a flipper; it can't be beat. The 0561 might tie it though just because of how smooth it is

kershaws overdrive flippers are surprisingly addictive but ever since I got my zt 0561 I just cant put it down

Kershaw Tilt takes the cake for me! Absolutely gorgeous and buttery smooth. Honorable mention to the ZT 0560 though as it is a more practical (replaceable that is!) blade to use.

Flippers definitely rule when it comes to fondling for me.

When I had it, I loved just sitting there playing with my Horton/Fellhoelter FTR because I was so fascinated by the blade.

I find myself fondling my SAK quite often, it's the smooth red scales, highly polished tools, and tight tolerances with no real imperfections. They are all equally perfect and similar. Can't forget about the perfect effort pull on all the tools and blades, victorinox has that dialed in just right, not too soft and not to hard.

I also greatly enjoy fondling my Buck 110 and 112 folders, just something about brass and wood and those wonderful buck blades that say both quality and and timeless antique.

Reeve Manandi rosewood. Feel the wood.
I can fondle it in public and nobody knows.
red mag

I have to with with sogs spec elite mini it has the arc lock so that's a very easy close it opens on thin studs-no flipper but its very smooth and the dip in the handle is life it was custom make to my hand.

when im watching a movie in my room in the dark i like to fondle my small sebenza (closed), the feeling of cool titanium is so nice
