Opinion: What is your favorite knife to fondle and why?

I love my BM Torrent, the sound it makes when I open it is just soooo cool, sounds like racking a hand gun.. not that I ever had one in my hand.

The scales and finish is so nice

I'd say my Mini-Grip w/ Wilkins scales. The scales feel good in hand, and the Axis lock does lend itself well to a couple of different opening and closing methods. Next up would be my ZT 0301. It's just really comfortable in hand, and that thing is a monster.

I love to fondle them all but if I had to choose one, it'd be my ZT0560. Silky smooth.

Thanks Lincoln, yea the Beast is def one smooth knife.

The pattern is great as well, very grippy too, was surprised when I first got it.

And yea I have a pretty extensive collection, of both Production and Custom Knives.

You can check out some pictures of alot of my knives in the EDC thread.

Dang that Dick Atkinson micarta folder is one real nice blade.

My favorite is between two. My large Ritter Grip w/Kevin Wilkins scales man does it feel great in my hands and its sooo smoooth, and the axis lock on top is just icing on the cake!! Next is my Les George VECP V1.5 I love this knife so very much its built like a tank and every bit as smooth as any Sebenza I have ever had in my hands. It locks up so nice and it feels like it was mad just for my hands Les has a true hardcore fan right here!!! I am starting a Les George collection now seriously they are so awesome words can't describe it. Thats my opinion anyway and they are my favorite fondlers lol.

Have a good one brothers

I can't fondle just one.

ZT's - 560, 301, 200, 550.

350 is not really a fondler but I do like it.

I love to hold my Condor Machete's too - not sure that really counts as fondling.

Para 2 feels so good in my hand closed and I love the spyder hole and arch that it makes. Sebenza 21 is just a work of art to behold with its finish and tolerances. But every time I'm out on my patio having a smoke my edc orange hinderer xm24 comes out and gets held and looked at.

You have refined tastes, my friend.

Lately my favorite fondling knife has been the Spyderco Southard Flipper. The blade flies out so smooth with just a bit of flipping pressure, making it a joy to fiddle with.

ZT 0200. That handle shape is so hard to put down, and the lock that sounds like a truck door closing is neat too. Honorable mention to SOG Spec Elite - smoothest opening, locking, and closing of all my folders. AND my new Benchmade mini-Bone Collector folder is seductively smooth too and I LOVE the handle.

I usually get the most pleasure out of my custom micarta Paramilitary 2. I've got it tuned exactly like I like it and it zips open and closed with authority, but without creating blade play. What a great knife.

I would say the brown para 2 is a lot of fun to play with but just to feel the knife in my hands it would be my Large Sebenza Micarta and my Strider SMF

But I did just get my first flipper the ZT 0560 and I have to say its so fun flipping it and just opening it with the thumb stud both ways are great. It just makes me want to get an xm-24 even more.
