Opinion: What is your favorite knife to fondle and why?

the one in my girlfriend's back pocket.

Yeah. Me, too. But if my wife finds out.... :(

Seriously, right now I've got my Muela beside my chair, so it is my knife of choice. Today, anyway.

Quick answer is - all of them. Most are kept on two shelves in my vault and have never been used except for the occasional 'fondling'. Wouldn't want any of them to feel neglected!

I would say the para 2 is one of the best knives to cycle. So many different ways you can get the blade to fire out. I have a ZT0550 that is pretty fun also. My sebenza 25 is great for fondling, not flicking and cycling over and over but that buttery smooth action great. How about this for an off the wall analogy-
The para 2 is like a delicious bacon cheesburger and fries with an ice cold beer after a long day's work, you just can't get it down fast enough, no thought of enjoying it slowly. The sebenza is like a 5 course gourmet meal and a bottle of wine that is meant to be enjoyed slowly, taking in all of the nuances. Both great when you are in the right mood.

I warned you ahead of time that it was off the wall....

Depends. I like to fondle old beat up knives to see all of the useage marks.
I also like to compare high end brands to cheap garbage knives.

I have A LOT of knives I love to fondle lol.

But most are my flippers, like my Spydie Southard, Brous Silent Soldier, Southpaw Knives Rescue One, etc.

My most fondled non flipper would be my 550HG Griptilian or my Hogue EX-01 Tanto.

I just have too many knives that I love to handle lol.

Yes the BM 550 is one of my favorite blades to fondle. My wife hates it when I break out an axis lock when she is trying to watch Dancing with Idiots. These are a few of my favorite things.

My Griptilian. Its so smooth, fast, and the blade drops when you pull back the lock. It is just so much fun to play with

Italian stillettos.. Cheap ones, nice ones, it doesn't matter. They are so pleasingly flicky and clicky and just a little bit naughty....

Benchmade 300 sn, hands down.

Didn't buy one until I handled one on person based on reviews. I liked what I felt and with a minimum of tweaking the 300 became a natural for me. If it's not in my pocket it's always nearby.

ZT 0561 at the moment, but it does change quite a bit. I love to fondle flippers the most. The main reason is the size, feel, and flipping action. I recently did some adjusting to my Kershaw Chill which now flips a lot better than it did from factory so I have been fondling it for awhile.

Benchmade 51, when it comes to fondling options, a balisong is far and away the most fun knife to "play" with
