I thought everyone was thinking what a lucky sumbich I was. You should see the 15 or so PM's we had. chester pmed me one minute before greenie posted seconds. The seller was in the process of issuing a refund, I was waiting to hear back from chester so I put a hold on the refund etc etc. I was like a bad comedy. I think he was a little up set with me at one point, we parted amicably he seems like a good guy.

Accurate descriptions are paramount.

Well thats good at least, and agreed, "used and sharpened" does not include the whole moved the clip around thing
 
Its one thing to say the Clip is mounted of lefty. But not say you drilled the Scale for it..who knows how good a job he did..and then the warranty is probably Void.. and does he even have the box?
 
I wanna see these pics lol, I'm kinda scared though. Another harmless Kershaw dies in the hands of a "modifier" :(
 
I'm Gonna Mod my Ti Tyrade once my parts get here from KAI. Gonna get the Ti to be Blue/Purple and maybe get someone to make me custom inserts that are more flush.

Any ti thats purple is a home run in my book. Actually, any knife in purple is awesome.

What parts you waiting on?

He bought it that way. He was hesitant about a description, said he didn't want people to think is was a hack job. Like I said seems like a good guy just not thinking how others might not understand his rational.

New Hardware and Torsion Bar so it will work like new. Then I have to tear the knife down..which I have to heat up the inserts to get them off and send the Ti to Pete Gray so he can get them a nice blueish purple. Then I'm thinking if I should leave the blade stock or give it a high mirror polish. Then find out if I could get some inserts made that are more flush.

That purple Tyrade is gonna be SWEET! Blue moon glow inserts would be awesome against it. Or maybe a jade G10 insert with just a moonglow liner underneath.
 
Chester: When you were talking about "pitting" on the clip, what does that look like? That's one of those things that I still don't know about knives. Sorry if it's a stupid question.
