It's very pretty. I can't get pictures right now because the phone I use (my moms) isn't here, and I'm going to be at my dads all weekend. I don't want to bring the DAM Skyline to my dads because somebody will touch and wreck it, I guarantee it. I'll get some Sunday.

I remember I listed a Para2 on the Exchange for $130, and I actually got an email from some random schmuck saying I was a disgusting person for trying to scam people out of money and gauging the price or whatever because I was selling it for so much money. He said I was taking advantage of the community. Imagine, especially now, how infuriating that is to read from some random jerkstore. To hear it from some guy who wants his knife back in new condition? What is wrong with people?

Ya this guy is being very unreasonable. He also thinks that the SR1 is worth $240, when you get can them brand new for under $200 all day. He told me the Para 2 is of no value to him because they aren't grismo scales. Like Grismo is some knive god or something. The truth is you can sell a Para 2 in about 5 minutes on the exchange right now, and the scales are worth $80. My math says he actually got the better end of the trade.

Wow. Just try to get through this, get the Para2 back, and then sell it. Don't bother with trades anymore. And since this guy is being hostile and confrontational, you should be the one inspecting the Para2 before you send him his stuff. He could jack up your piece and then brush it off. Like I said already, proceed with caution, and document everything. Photos, video, save conversations, etc. If this guy is being aggressive, it's likely because he knows he's already got the good end of the deal and wants to save face while capitalizing on the situation somehow. Be wary.

Thats a crappy situation. You described the knife as accurately as possible when you sold it. He got the knife and agreed with your description. When he accepted the knife it was a done deal. The ball is in your court, do what you feel is right, but dont cater to a prick.

I'm going to take your advice. I have all of our email conversations so it's all documented. I just doesn't seem worth it to trade anymore unless you know the person. Just too much hassel.

Thanks guys for your help on this situation. See, THIS is a knife community. We would never try to pull this crap on one another. All my dealings with you guys have been top notch. Too bad we can't have our own trade and exchange for order of KAI!
 
Yeah...and if I wanted to sell one of my rare Skylines for a boat load of money, I'd tell you guys straight up. :D Honesty ftw!

Does anybody else here document their knives? I put the knife, who I received it from, how much I bought it for, and the condition I received it.
 
Question. If PayPal payments come up in your account with the gross value being, say in this example, $100 even, with fees being "$0.00", it was sent as a gift payment, correct?

Good decision Ice, you have what he wants and it is your best leverage. You are dealing with a very small minded person, there is no room in his head to try and be rational with him. Hope it ends up fairly.

On the weight loss chatter, 16lbs for me. The best way to take pounds off is highly debatable but the bottom line is you have to live daily at a calorie deficit. If you exercise too then you create the option of eating more or taking of more lbs. per week. The other bonus with exercise is you feel better.
 
I don't really know that much about weight loss, but this is how I look at it. I'll eat 2,500 calories before my workout/exercise. After I'm done working out/exercising, I'll have burned 3,000 calories, therefore I lost 500 calories. I don't know if those numbers should be higher or lower, but that was just an example.

Depends. Usually the gift option doesn't take fees, however if it's a large amount, they'll then charge fees to the sender or receiver, at the option of the sender. Under the personal section when sending a payment, there are other options for more specificity, like "payment owed", "rent" or something like that. As they're all under the personal tab for sending funds, they don't normally incur fees unless it's a large amount, at which point they'll give the option to absorb the fees via either the sender or receiver of the money.
 
Do you gents know if they ever made a Titanium framelock Blur? I never heard anything about it so I'm guessing they didn't. How cool would that be? Ti framelock with something like Elmax or even CPM-154 for the blade. I would snatch on of those up the minute they came out for sure!
