I don't like deep-carry clips either. There's no knife to grab onto. I like a little knife to stick out, but not a lot. I prefer tip-up on all of my knives unless to much of the knife sticks out, like the Skyline for example.

I've never had my lanyard catch/grab onto anything. It just hangs close to my pocket. Most of the time my shirt/sweat-shirt is hanging over it anyways.

No,I usually don't make my lanyards longer than1 1/2 inches.

I prefer tip down myself.

The way I grab my knife when tip down is I put my index finger and thumb on the pivot, and then rotate it, so that my grip is perfect. Usually when I do tip up the way I grab it, is by the top, then when I pull up I LET GO OF THE KNIFE and re-grab it once it's the way I like my grip. And when I'm momentarily letting go of my expensive tilt, or grip it scares me. So now I prefer tip down.

I grab my tip-down knives basically the same way you do. For tip-up, I grab the butt of the knife and start to pull it out of my pocket. Then, when I'm about half-way in the air, I slide my fingers up the knife and into position to flick it open. This is all in one swift motion.
 
I liked the Griptilian to start with. But I love this model :D. What is everyone up to today?

I'm relaxing and trying to decide what color griptilian to buy haha (it's sooo stressful:D)

Ya know, I'm not a big fan of Benchmade, but I really do like that particular piece. If you're ever willing to loan it out to me for a video, I'd take really good care of it. :D

I'm still doing a bunch of grad school work, and preparing for my tutoring student. Nothing very fun, but it could be worse.
 
The grips gonna have to wait....when I was checking the price I checked the mini grip instead of the full size lol.

I would be happy to man. I got to send some stuff back to Seelow who graciously sent me his 0560 to try. So It wouldn't be a problem. At 9blades, the price is pretty good for what you are getting. If you have apprehension because the handles are a form of plastic. It is incredibly durable.

I agree but I have my heart set on a full size haha and I don't have to worry about it getting discontinued any time soon, so it can wait....also steel130, I don't mind the plastic handles at all I just don't have the cash for the full sized at the moment:thumbup:

Gotcha. The mini is nice. However its entire closed length fits into the grip area of the full sized Grip. So I largely prefer the full sized.
