Considering this involves me, I'll post one last time.
I never sulked, or complained about not getting a knife. I was rather happy Will got it actually. After all he's probably the coolest most awesome guy I've met on here, and he deserves it much more than I do. Especially since he's given me awesome gifts when he didn't have to.

Probably forgetting a few.

Anyway... enough of that... back to knives...

Did anyone else pick up one of the Damascus Double Cross (or Wild Turkey) knives when they were released not too long ago (June, I think)? I got one from Dave. I don't often carry traditionals, but I've been carrying this one on and off since I got it. It's sort of like a traditional, yet it's not (has thumb studs and a liner lock on each blade). I'm liking this one a lot. Looks great, and feels very solid in hand. It's sharp as heck too (probably the sharpest factory edge I've ever gotten).

Joking...Joking....Thats a nice piece! I really don't have any interest in traditionals or the like, but I can always appreciate a good damascus blade! Not everyday you see one with thumbstuds either.

Heh. Yeah. It's a Japanese-made Kershaw. Model 4380D. I have very few traditionals and generally have little interest in them, but I thought this was worth a look. Not sure if the "DoubleCross" name refers to the 2 blades or the crossover between traditional and modern style folders. VG-1 core clad in 16 layers of Damascus, Pakkawood handles, and nickel bolsters. It really is a beautiful and functional piece.

Wow guess I missed a lot while I was sleeping, ahh to be young. I saw those damascus kershaws somewhere definitely nice I have just bought way to much stuff though and need to cool it for a while.

Oh wow and I just read back to see that Thomas talks to us for the first time in a year and it took less than 2 hours to show him we aren't mature enough to have him around? In my opinion that is one resignation we should keep, that immaturity simply can't be tolerated here.

If I remember correctly, this was based off of the the regular double cross and the bigger brother double duty. I have been wanting one since I heard Dave was getting them. This and the wild turkey damascus. Such a great update to a traditional style folder.

Good morning. What's everyone doing today? I have a physical to go to. Then I've got a funeral to go to with my dad. I don't really know the guy, but my dad served 12 years with him on the fire department.
 
My boss took the day off, which is really convenient. I put a bunch of footage and project files on my laptop to edit at work, and now I don't have to do it secretively. I can just power through the edits and get Dave's videos done today. That'll clear the backlog of stuff I owe him and get me started on the pile of stuff I need done before the move.

By the way, our new apartment is being worked on now. So far it looks pretty good, we can't wait to get the new space.
 
Wow I think someone is overreacting. Mark no one wants you to leave man. Like Stick said you need to grow a thicker skin if things like this bother you to the point of " I'm taking my toys and going home" attitude.

Take a few days and think it over. It will all seem pretty ridiculous to you. I was your age once and emotion got the best of me way to many times, it's part of being a teenager.
