Order of KAI Official Hang Out; Part Deux - It's Enrico Palazzo!

Just to be unique and have a head turner. It's like putting nice rims on a car, doesn't make it perform better but sure does turn heads

Perhaps some of you folks on here can enlighten me on something...

What is the fascination on getting knives pimped? Like...really? What is it about pimping a knife that makes people cream their pants?

I think people like having the only one, we're obsessed with having exclusive things. Pimped knives, having the new iPhone the day it comes out, limited edition colors of just about anything, ect. sometimes people just want some of a makers work I suppose. I think if you want your knife pimped, go for it, it's your knife so make it your own. I don't think it's a good idea when people pimp LE knives though...makes me cringe

So gents...guess who stopped by GPKnives headquarters this evening? This guy. I am (home) home for the weekend, around the St. Louis area, and on the way up we stopped by Troy, IL where the little shop was. For being quite the online retailer of blades, this place was pretty small. But the selection was amazing. I handled my first couple Hinderers today, and wow. They were pretty fancy. Also picked up about half a dozen beautiful Sebenza's, and looked at some striders. Pretty sweet as well. Also, I got to handle the new additions they got, which were the 0300BW's. They seemed like they were a couple years old, but still have that new look to them. Also picked up a 2013 Zero Tolerance product guide, which was just alright in my book. Great staff they have there, I'd love to go there again with money.

I'm going to order a benchmade 530 from them tomorrow. :)

Pimp their bodies? You mean mill frag patterns and flame color their nipples? Sue Patine Grines!

That's sig material right there...mods wouldn't like it though.

Awesome people! Real cool visiting there too. I highly recommend it! I LOVED playing with the 3.5 Spanto in Brown :D Just don't have $850...

Lord...I still recall his, "you should hire toughtongue because he knows how to make knives cooler" comment to Jen at Blade. Maybe they both could go work for Kai and teach them how to properly work with Elmax since they, as custom makers, have the secret or so he said.
