Order of the straight edge

Gary that is a beautiful knife. It looks stubby to me. Is it fairly small?
Don't mean to derail the thread but it's 3 5/8". Jerry Halfrich calls it a Small Rounder. It's a very sturdy knife. I think he makes a larger and a smaller model also. Great knife.

There are EO versions of the GEC 25 pattern with a sheepsfoot blade out there. Some are Bulldog brand made by GEC. The one I have also has no nail nick.

I really wish I'd picked one of those up, in ebony. I have that pattern without the EO and it's a great little knife. I also wish that GEC would do a fresh run of #25's (nudge, nudge...)

I'm in!

Pictures will have to wait, I'm just posting now to make it easier to follow this thread.

I hear ya. The ebony EO GEC version with the acorn shield is my favorite.
GEC is displaying at our local sportsman's show. I'll be there tomorrow and will nudge them for you. :D

I've been hankering after a Swayback, this one arrived over here yesterday and it's just what I was looking for:)
