Well let me tell you. 1996? As a ten year old? Nothing cooler.

I was 10 in '89 so these must've been a fad I missed out on lol. Coincidentally age 10 is when I got my first real pocketknife, a Victorinox camping model. I was in the Boy Scouts at the time and that SAK was the bees knees! Carried it until I lost it on a fishing trip with my best friend in 2001 or 2002. In 10th grade biology when the teacher didn't have enough scalpels me and a buddy used my SAK to dissect a frog. Wasn't supposed to have a knife in school by that time, but Ms. Honaker was cool That wasn't a big task for the Vic, it'd cleaned hundreds of frogs for the supper table

It seems to be similar to the 35 Churchill with a couple of important exceptions—different blades (better main imo, but I like the coping secondary over the pen) and the “humpback”, which adds a little more pizazz than the equal end. The extra bling on the bolsters is a plus, too, but in size and ergonomics it seems very similar to the Churchill.

It’s unusual but should be a good carry, a wharncliffe is still my preferred main blade. I usually carry a single blade though, so the secondary is well….secondary

I used to collect wacky packages as a kid. My parents would send me down to the corner store to get them cigarettes and what not. They would let me keep the dimes that I got in change. But I do remember the pogs. My children had them.

Ordered mine an hour after the preorder opened. Love traditional’s but don’t frequent this forum as much as I used too.

The past few years have been crazy for the traditional knives I’m interested in and the whole secondary market has been a put off for me.

Really looking forward to using and carrying this knife and won’t repeat my previous mistake of not holding on to my gec folders.
