We will be thinking of you Lloyd. You will be sorely missed! I will definitely text you a few pics from the show.
Not taking a computer with me this trip, so won't be posting my usual show photos until I get home a few days later.
 
All packed up and headed out early in the morning!! Catching a ride with Rhidian, from the great White North, but not carrying too many knives due to things tightening up at the border!! I hope they are welcoming us tourists to bring some spending money into to States!!Dave at Roadhouse.jpg

Pack up and get down to Eugene this weekend , for the Greatest Knife Show in the West!! 😁
 
Pickup all packed! Leave here about 3 am (my time)and should arrive around 4 pm (left coast time) tomorrow.
Sure looking forward to this year! Get to see some folks that I only get to see once a year and then My Friend Duncan! Who I haven’t seen since 2017.
This year is gonna be epic! Anyone who can make it owes it to themselves to get there. Anyone on the fence that doesn’t come is gonna be bummed!!

Hope everyone has safe travels, hassle-free border crossings, etc. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone!

We got into Portland a little late (by the time we got on the road to Eugene it was 10:30). Had to find some place that was open late to grab a bite. Thankfully there was an In-N-Out right off the highway in Salem. I hadn’t had it since we left Arizona 7 years ago.

A tasty late night meal, what's not to love.
 
Got a bit of a late start, and wasn’t expecting the drive to be over five hours. Just made it to the hotel about an hour ago. I’m at the River Valley Inn and the renovations sure are nice since the fire a while back. The on-site restaurant is pretty nice too. Steak Frites with an 8oz snake river farms wagyu strip steak for just over $40!

Can’t wait to see everyone, and what the show has in store this year!

Oh! And Charlie…. I just saw what Evan made for you. Holy WOW!!!
 
It sounds like it's going to be a blast!
I hate I won't be able to make it out there. I'm about 3,000 miles away, so maybe if I start driving now I can be there in about two days if I don't stop anywhere, or sleep for that matter 🤔🤣
I would love to go one day though.
Y'all take plenty of pics for us! 😎
