Thank you, Dave. Hopefully, I will not disappoint. I think I might bring the munchkins with me as well, they have inherited their dad's enthusiasm for knives and I am sure they will love the show.

I am sad that is won't make it this year. I know my daughter always enjoys the show. It might seem strange to some people (like my wife) but a knife show can be pretty darned cool when you are a kid. I know it makes me feel like a kid.

Is the Oregon show a sale and swap meet show, or mainly displays by collectors and no sales and trades? What is the scene like?

Over 350 sales tables plus a bunch of display tables, and many demonstrations to boot! There is more to see than possible in one day.

I remember that year. Those blue tubs Charlie had that people are looking through had some very desirable knives in them! That's the day I picked up my skunk TC!

Excellent! I am afraid we will not make the opening bell, my daughter has a soccer game at 8am, but we will head down right afterwards and should be there between 10:30-11ish on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you folks.

Duncan I wish you were coming to this knife show this year!! I know it is an expensive proposition to mount this kind of expedition from the way-out-there Pacific and New Zealand but I would sure like to meet you and Paul. It is such a great show and you are surrounded by lots and lots of vintage/antique knives you will never see anywhere else and many are for sale! Three days in Knife heaven! Wonderful dealers and members!! I will try to get some photos up late Friday evening of the show setup with sellers and OKCA members. Public comes in Saturday and Sunday!

Hey Lloyd - Couldn't make it this year :-( Have a gr8 time bud. Say hello to Charlie and the gang. Just sorta like the Pink Floyd song "Wish you were here".
