OT: Fiddlebacks & Firearms

My traveling kit this week.

Nice carry combination. Really like the Glock 43 and the F2 (I hope, I am still working on my Fiddleback knives family identification).

Ok Ladies and Gents (hi there Sarah!), it's that time again. Was talking with a good friend about knives and pistols. Got me thinking. Keeping this thread alive...my humble contribution to this Forum.

Hey Tony, after seeing your Hi Power, I got inspired to wip out my 1911! Pardon the Busse grips[emoji1]

Tony, that Browning Hi Power is a classic.
Gus, my favorite hand gun platform and indeed sexy.

Gawd! The blueing on that is spectacular! The knife ain't too damn bad either!

Thanks for the compliments gents. I do have a soft spot for that 1911 style, and a particular love of the Hi-Power. It was the very first pistol I ever fired. I was 9 years old, at summer camp, and it was pure perfection. As an adult I've owned quite a few, but never found exactly the one to match that summer camp love, until I stumbled across this one in a local shop about ten years ago. Come zombie apocalypse/EMP strike/Communist invasion/SHTF-EOTWAWKI...I've got other more rational priorities in my bug-out kit, but I'll find a way to go down fighting with this one in my hand.
