Wound up on Candle Forums - first mistake!

Started reading - Uh oh!

Hey, that one looks cool! What about that one? Ooooooh another one wow.

2 Hours later I have a Fenix PD35 TAC to be delivered Friday. Takes a 18650 rechargeable battery which I use in my ecig - One always charging. Should work out well.

What have I done? Will it become an addiction?

How about you hogs - do you collect flashlights? Mod them, etc??

Oh my, yep I'm a flashlight ho as well. Tons of good options out there for lights now. My badass is an overready mini turbo, suefire body and head wih a 1000 lumen led on deck, briiiiiiiight!

I've got the Fenix PD35,, love the strobe feature, that thing will render someone nauseous. I love to do it to my friends who come over to the house:D

I love a good light. My current big gun is a Nitecore TM15. I might need an upgrade since I've had it for a couple of years now.

That PD35 TAC looks like a nice light. I'm a sucker for crowned bezels.

Oh yeah,,,

Careful, Milkyspit does some cool things with Surefire lights,,,

Is that the intent of the strobe? New to all this;)
It's my understanding that it's a way to give you an advantage to say, someone in the dark. This is a more scientific explanation "
Strobing tactical lights do not allow the photoreceptors to reset, which shocks an individual’s vision. Strobing bright light forces the brain’s perception input to arrive in segments, thus creating after images as the brain labors to fill in or complete the partial image created by the momentary exposure of the strobe. These after images compound with each strobe exposure, which increases perceptual disparity."
Basically it really disorients you and screws with your brain.
I will say from experience it does almost nothing to raccoons raiding your garbage cans!

Oh yeah flashlight bug here too !!!! I've got a Fenix T40, small AA jetbeam, multiple surefires. Looking at O light now lol

Yea, you're screwed. I've got about a dozen Fenix lights, not to mention other makers :) (and there are plenty more I want!)

I have a a four-sevens and an elzetta. Used to have a big four-sevens but I have since got rid of it (it was too big to carry with me every day). I've been enjoying the Elzetta. I don't remember the model but it is incredibly simple and feels solid yet not cumbersome. I don't have pics though :/

I got bitten by that bug; but I escaped. Well, sort of...I've got a few AA lights, a couple of titanium lights that burn 14500s, and 3 that use 2xCR123/1x18650. Then there are the "full sized", for when I need a real flashlight: Thrunite TN30, Solar Force S2200, and an AceBeam K40 (actually, it's a K40vn Fiat Lux).
I say I escaped but I periodically check Vihn's forum...so far I've managed to escape buying the light I really want but have absolutely no need for

I have a Streamlight ProTac 2AA that goes everywhere I go. Absolutely love that little flashlight.

All the guys here are pretty big into flash lights as well, Especially Beef. I just use the one on my phone :D
