OT - Just Bought my First Flashlight - Hmmmm

I just got the Maratac CR123 copper in the mail yesterday. I've always wanted one of the copper lights from Maratac. Max output is 300 lumen. There are a few that go brighter but they aren't copper :p I wish Busse would make a small knife with frag pattern grips to match my Hinderer and Maratac. Maybe they could work an exclusive with Monkey Edge?

Next I might grab one of those Olight S1 Batons, a Thrunite TN36, Sky Ray S110 with 10 CREE XM-Ls (why not), Nitecore EA11, or some single 18650 light that throws about 1000 lumen. These lights just keep getting better and cheaper and I love it.

The copper Maratac lights are SO sweet! Also, I highly recommend the S1 Baton. Excellent EDC! It has, however, just been superceeded by the new S10 Baton, just FYI.

Yeah I saw that but (as cheesy as it sounds) I love the looks of the S1. I wish the S10 had the blue accents.

Go over to Candle Power forums in the group buy section. The Olight S1 is listed as a group buy. Price is at least half of listed. Killer deal- I got 3 of them coming :)

Oh WOW! That is killer! I got mine for a great price at a gun show awhile back, but not that great of a price. If I wasn't hard up for money right now, I'd jump on that!

No problemo. Now there is this Manker Timeback Titanium Alloy light that looks interesting. Waiting on a price. What have I done??????????????????????//

Yeah I keep seeing the banner ads for that one. I might have to grab one of those too since I anodize Ti stuff.

Here is the equivalent of the MOAB but in flashlight form:

Wicked Laser Flash Torch (4100 lumens)

I have started camp fires with this beast.

Save yourself a lot of time and money by going straight to the top early. McGizmo Mule or Haiku. Saves you from having a drawerful of lesser lights collecting dust.

Looking at a Haiku right now trying to talk myself into a HDS executive but that Haiku is a sweet torch.

For anyone looking at the Olight S1....
The group buy is full for now (will open up again soon I'm told). If you want them for around $25 you can go here
http://www.gearbest.com/led-flashli...m_medium=livingsurvival&utm_campaign=OlightS1

and use this code
LivingSurvival

That brings them to $26.69
Then if you sign up for that sites email list, you get a bunch of coupons for $5 off any $50 purchase. I just grabbed 4 of them for stocking stuffers.

I think my next flashlight is going to be the Nitecore EC4S!!!

2150 lumens from a single Cree 4-die LED!!!  :D 2 x 18650 or 4 x CR123. Has a die-cast unibody, which I'm not terribly sure about, but Nitecore makes some great stuff, and at under $100, it's worth a shot.
