OT - Watches !!

I started picking up a few Seikos this year and still don't have all of them that I want. Gee, what else could that apply to?

I switched to a Suunto Heart Rate monitor for training and it is great. The Polars suck now. Some of the other Suunto stuff with GPS is very cool too.
 
i'm loving those seiko sharks mate - nice !!

:thumbdn: For me. They get in the way of my ink. I unfortunately have a cel phone on me @ all times, so I check it for beer:30.;)

I worked as a watch salesman/repairman. I have learned to appreciate fine watches. Espeacially fortis, though i dont own one. sigh.
 
I guess hogs of a feather flock together. I have owned more than a few watches in my life. I have narrowed it down to only two. One is a "Combat Grade" that I wear everyday and the other is a "LE" that I wear when I go out.

My cell phone tells me what time it is. I own a citizen eco drive and a seiko something or other that belonged to my father, but don't wear either....

Don't need no stinkin' soul, already sold mine. As far as the scramblin', you can't scramble what's already fried.;) :D

BTW, this "kid" would rather not use watch or phone. Daytime, Nighttime and a holler (well, maybe the forums) is all I want.:rolleyes:
 
I use to wear watches. I really wanted a Citizen Titanium Eco-Drive, but I ruin watches, phones, well almost all mechanical/electrical devices. I use to have a pile of G-Shocks, they would quit working properly after wearing them for 2-6 months. finally gave up. I have to replace my cel phone about once a year.
 
At work I get good use out of a good 'ol Timex Expedition with date. Couldn't live without the date! The last one I bought even has a perpetual calender...talk about the bee's knees!

Away from work I wear a stainless Citizen Nighthawk. I love the weight of stainless, and large diameters rock!

My dream watch would be a Breitling B2 or Super Avenger:cool:
 
A few Panerai's (190, 162) and a Doxa 750T Caribbean. Watches dent my wallet more then anything else ;-)
