OT: Whats your favorite SHTF Handgun and why?

My 1977 Model 27 is pretty clean as well. Great shooters, but almost too nice to shoot.

my 1983 mod 27 is nickel plated and pretty mint as well. But I shoot it.

Revolvers like that are just sexy. Is sexy even the right word....I’m not sure, but it fits.

I inky have one revolver currently. 1976 blues 6" colt python. I'll be getting the father in laws 1972 4" model 29 whenever hes gone as well.

I kinda want to grab a cheap model 10 snub nose for snake shot.

was wondering if you guys have heard of this gun. Arex Rex Zero 1 from Slovenia(same place as Melania Trump is from). This gun has passed torture tests that have stopped most other guns. It is very similar to sig, but has some added features. It is ambidextrous and can be carried either hammer down with the same decocker thats in a Sig or can be carried cocked and locked with a frame mounted safety. I have only put 300 rounds through it. It shoots quite nice.

If we stretch the definition of handgun a bit to allow for what the ATF considers a “pistol” then hands down this would be my top choice for a fun/knife combo. They currently reside in my truck anyway

(I'm currently Busseless) but my modified KZII (now with another owner) would be hard to leave at home.

The Busse void is filled currently by a few HI kukri and some customs.

proprietary but cheap. Polish government and some others have already adopted the gun as their duty gun, so it has backing

Same pistol I posted, Sig MPX Copperhead. They use the same mags across the 9mm MPX line. My wife has the original MPX Pistol with folding brace and we have about 15 mags between them.

The MPX is a fantastic platform. Excellent choice Fischer!

yeah man first time I took it to the range I was in love, I was so reluctant to go 9mm in an AR platform but man this thing changed my mind. Did the green dot for 25 yards and laser at 25 feet. It’s absolutely flawless and easily took its place as my go to gun.

it replaced its big brother, the Sig 516 pistol as my truck gun...

Damnit. Been watching torture test and reviews on this thing. It seems unstoppable especially compared to its Legion counterpart that cost 3x.... incredible piece of iron!

Yup pretty amazing little gun. Built like a tank. Price wise for an all metal gun it is a good price. I really like the controls on the gun, it is like having a 1911 and a Sig all in one. If you wanna carry cocked and locked, you can. If you wanna carry hammer down, you can. The grip feels like a cross between an M9 and a P226. It pretty much owned the torture tests and my understanding is that it passed all foreign military endurance tests with flying colors.

The nickel model looks nice. I could not find one, so I got the two tone.

I really like SIGs (P6, P210, P220, P226, P229, P365); they're my Glock. But cocked and locked would be a really nice option. I'm going to have to get one of these.

Yeah it is a nice option. I like Sigs as well and have owned many to include my old west german 220.

I miss my 220 dearly, one of those pistols that felt like ......pardon my expression, felt like sex in your hand. Or as an old range master used to say, you’re pistol should feel like you holding your own “d” in your hand. You have to master your pistol like you know how to handle your own self. Though he was much cruder and more hilarious . But that Arex Rex Zero 1.....looks the part.
