Our "Front Porch" ....

Wow those are stunning pics. My dream is to one day move out to a less rural area. Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day.

Very nice scenery brother. My wife and I would love to have a horse someday. Might have to come visit someday!

Justin, buddy! What a great group of photos.. Horses and Hinderers!!!! AWESOME buddy… I love the pics and the horses!

Thanks fellas! Greatly appreciated :D Your welcome to come and saddle and ride a horse anytime!! There's plenty of them to ride...

Looks nice, Rubi.

In my opinion there's only a handful of ways to "easily" personalize a vehicle and bolting on a new set of wheels certainly is high on the list.

When I was in the mini/sport truck hobby it was always fun doing the math to determine how low my tire aspect ratio needed to be on my larger wheels to keep from having to reccaliberate the gauges....especially the speedometer. Fast forward to current GPS systems and speedometer accuracy is now less of a concern.

Thank you Gentleman! I was pretty pleased. Went with wheels and Michelins (even though I just bought new tires for my 20" OEM wheels) now I have two sets I guess, we all know the value of options/variety;).
Figure the stock set will be for winter (tires are skinnier).
I stopped by a "New" tire shop just opened that day on the Mountain and everything they have is New state of the art "Hunter Equipment" actually reps from Hunter were there because this is going to be their testing R&D store, pretty cool.
Anyway the guy had quoted me a number and I was considering it when I said, "If you can get that into the mid $$$$'s" and He misheard me and said, "the Mid $$$, Ok I can do that".
Well the Mid $$$ I said was about $400 higher than the Mid $$$ he must have heard so  I repeated his $$ back to him just to avoid any misunderstanding and when he reconfirmed I simply said, "When ya wanna do it?"
I was their first big sale of the opening and with all the reps, the Owner, his Dog and everybody else present it was like being a rock star for a couple hours. Nice place, nice people ..... still don't know where he came up with his $$ but it wasn't like I strong armed him.
I always say, "a Good deal is one that seems to make everybody happy".

When I was in the mini/sport truck hobby it was always fun doing the math to determine how low my tire aspect ratio needed to be on my larger wheels to keep from having to reccaliberate the gauges....especially the speedometer.

Today, on-line calculators make that a snap. I have used a particular excel file for calculating tire diameter/width/track/offset for the better part of 15 years, still use it at times.

Fast forward to current GPS systems and speedometer accuracy is now less of a concern.

Perhaps, but you would be potentially responsible for misstatement of your odometer but more importantly, proper tire diameter is necessary for all of the computer controlled systems these days.

BMWs have such ridiculous speedometer readings in stock form it is almost laughable.

Even w/ a computer to do the math for me I often redo things the "hard way" just to double check.

And my words about GPS accuracy were more of as a quick guide. In that, it tells if your gauges are close. Any major anomaly should certainly be corrected.

ETA: it's probably easier just to have a business that does this stuff for a living do it for you.

Cool truck Rubi, looks good with the black wheels! Not sure I like the new 2014 front end, yours looks better.

I thought that you guys would get a kick out of this. I picked up my kids last night after work and my 1 year old ripped her bow out while she was in my truck. My wife freaks out if I lose them so I clipped it to my pocket for safe keeping. Fast forward an hour and Im on an appointment with a customer looking at a window job and he says to me "do you have a daughter?" I said "yes I have two actually why do you ask?" He points down at my pocket and.theres a nice pink bow next to my XM. Haha!

Funny story Jensen!! I forget stuff like that all time. My sons LOVE stickers. People point them out to me all the time.

Great to be a Dad and not giving a hoot! :-)
