Portland! My wife is from Sellwood (SE 13th). I'd like to get a place in her old neighborhood. It's a shame her family didn't keep the place.
 
Sellwood is a great area of Portland. Very cool vibe there and also the site of my absolute #1 sushi restaurant, Saburo's. Just 4 blocks from 13th and Bybee! You're right, a house in that neighborhood would be fantastic. Great houses and porches!!!!

This isn't a porch, but I built a sitting area on the side of my yard. I use it a lot in good weather.

Yes, Hanging with my Sons. Watched some of the race. Watched SpiderMan 3. Relaxing.

They are (Back and Front) Sun comes up in back, sets out front. Love morning coffee with the Hummingbirds and then a nice glass of Kentucky Bourbon in a rocking chair as the day melts away. :)
 
That is awesome! To bad your a bit from Ga...I'd drop by with a bottle and bag o'knives and chew the fat! :beer:

Never drove to Benning (been there many times but "different" circumstances) have driven to Stewart though.
Stayed in Valdosta Ga. for awhile too (long story) IF ever up this way - let me know :)
Some of us "Yankees" are pretty good Hosts !
