Our "Front Porch" ....

@need2know ok lang po :)

Not much need for the show of respect, just checking in on a great forum community that does not require owning a Hinderer to justify participation. All one needs is a good attitude and some common interests.

i always give respect to people who deserve it and reciprocate it ;)

------------------Invitation to Sunday Evening Dialogue-------------------- Imagine the Talk of the Porch and have at it.
Guess we should qualify that, No Politics or Religion (Have it, just don't discuss it here) :)

Yum.
Might have a "taste" this evening.

Well darn, got bit busy and let the forums be for a bit. Might be for the best; I'm way beyond fed up with the two off-limits topics mentioned above, I'm sure I'd slip out some bias on one or the other after a few beverages. Especially hiding behind a keyboard...isn't that where so many B.A.'s reside anyhow?

How you like the KC, Rubi?
Years ago, the first time I tried it, it had a spicy note that I found a little offputting so I haven't given it too many more chances since. That said, I don't think it was the same aged Reserve you have there and I know it certainly came from a different batch.

A Day of Remembrance. 150 years since the Battle of Gettysburg. Over 51,000 American casualties (killed/injured) in just 3 days on the Fields of Battle just outside the small Pennsylvania town and Our Hearts go out to the Families of the 19 FireFighters who gave their Lives fighting the Arizona Wild Fires - let their sacrifice never be forgotten.

Well stated, Rubi.

On days where my heart is heavy I find far less forum time, and I assure you that when my Country aches...so do I.

Amen.

My brother is a firefighter and most my friends from HS are fire or LEO. Always praying for their safety. Sad story today. Choked up reading through it. Prayers for their families.

Sending up a prayer that your brother stays safe out there.

Horrible tragedy!!! I've been off the grid the past 2 days and just getting caught up...very sad...

Murphy, NC and back to FL. Was a great holiday. Rained the whole time so missed the fireworks shows, but got to put the hinderer to use cutting some branches at my dad's place.

Took it pretty easy. Time with a few family members, etc. cannot complain at all.

Hope everyone else had a good one.

i did a shift with our bike patrol on friday for the town fireworks, we just pedal around with the crowd and had a great time.....thankfully we had no issues.... and on sunday morning i did my first class of bikram yoga! Man that was so cool I did another one on monday! sorry I've been absent for a while, kind of get busy in the summer.... oh and i just got a new putor, wow this site looks so much better on my new air, than on my old iPad!! The pics are way better now.... Missed you guys..c u soon i'll try to post some summer pics.... waiting for the next set of xm 24's to come out...... HINT!... Oh and what ever happened to find the Hinderer?

Welcome back.

Find the Hinderer went a tad too difficult. If it takes more than 48 hours to win, it turns from fun to frustration. I'm assuming a bit, but...

Yoga is always best viewed from the row behind the female masters..opinion, of course.

And if things stay similar to the past, 3" will follow the current 3.5's, then 24s should follow those. But all bets are off with all the coolness of new stuff form the Ranch recently.

yeah I'm just trying to balance on one foot without slipping on my towel at 105 degrees.... oh and thanks for the tip on woodford's reserve....... its hanging in the cabinet with the bombay.... its always good to live in extremes, you know healthy stuff, and not so healthy stuff......

Glad you like the Woodford. I find it to be a fine KY Bourbon that tends to impress doubters and first-timers while also satisfying to Bourbon regulars. I try and keep plenty around for various occasions.
