Our "Front Porch" ....

Finding a lost piece of popular equipment is a special experience. Glad it worked out!
I lost my investigator and my HDS flashlight recently and thanks be - Both were found!

Dang, yeah, this would have put me in a funk for days... :dread:

I carry mine IWB with the pocket clip looped under the front right belt loop closest to my belt buckle angling the bottom of the knife the direction of my belt buckle. Conceals soooo nicely there. Carried the XM-24, and 18 there with no problems. We do the web sites for the sheriff's office there and the major is a good friend. He used to be head of SWAT and told me that is one of the best places to conceal it and hardest to find if someone past you down. So, I have always just carried mine there. Pretty easy to get to also :)

Oh, thought I'd add that fortunately, I work someplace I can wear my shirts untucked. Adds to the ease of this particular carry position.

Njhart. Have you ever considered one of those cool leather quick draw holsters for your XM?

I know there are many threads about carry, however back in the 70's or 80's pretty much everyone carried their Buck 110 in a belt loop pouch, prior to the advent of pocket clips. I still carry a few items on occasion in belt loop pouches, flashlight, muti tool, and knife. Benefits, secure carry, and saves wear and tear on pants pocket. The downside would be it is not as socially acceptable and in some areas knife carry in this fashion draws undo scrutiny from police.

I know most of us have become accustomed to pocket clip carry and many think the pocket clip adds to the beauty of a knife, especially with all the accruements available to dress it up. However removing the pocket clip adds such beauty and un obstructed lines to the knife, and in some cases, functionality. Pressing on the pocket clip transfers force to the lockbar putting pressure on the detent, increasing force needed to open the knife. I have never had this issue with my deployment of any Hinderers, but it does exist.

I've never used one but I do like the look and functionality. At some point I may pick one up just to try it out. :)

I have for fun, but not really for regular use. I have some sort of psychological aversion to holsters for non guns. I won't even put my phone (iPhone in whatever the super thick mophie case is) in one. It's dumb on my part, but I could never really warm up to the thought of one.

^ Nice Rubi! That is one cool wrangler. Looks like it would be a fun toy.i had a 1987 wrangler when I was a kid and I ran the tires off of that thing. Looking back it is probably my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. A lot of good memories in that jeep.

Wow is that ever sweet! I'm a big Jeep fan, looks mine only on roids! Big question will it hold all of your guns, knives, ordinances, ammo and such?

Man, I miss my Rubicon soooooooooo badly!!! First video is with the lockers off and second with the lockers on :)

Thanks. Actually looks much Larger in person than the pics. The Mods were done by a Professional Company for the Dealer so ALL is Warrantied and everything is recalibrated etc etc. - My desire to do lifts etc are a memory.
My First Jeep was a White/Black so it brings back that look for me. Drives nice, the New motor is an amazing upgrade in torque/power.
IF I was going to build one - it may have looked just like this one.....

Sounds like a done deal... Go get it ;)

WoW! Not sure if you saw that I had a Black Rubicon (I think I've posted Pics) might have something to do with my screen name now that I think about it :)
The sight of a Lifted outfitted Jeep makes my skin tingle - sorta a long time love affair.

Yeah, I have had 4. LOVE jeeps, but I drive 130 miles round trip a day right now so just not in the cards. Once I'm driving less I will get another. I have a Mini Clubman which is fast as hell and a blast to drive, but nothing does it for me like a Jeep.

That is my dilemma, I drive about 37 miles each way (not that I have to do it everyday but...) my 4runner Limited is very comfortable it is a beautiful truck but ...
I dunno.

(I think this would be #7 :)) Love of a Jeep is a tough thing to shake.

I "re-fell" in Love with my Black Rubicon when I saw yours, I don't think I'll do black again though - I always do that to myself and usually regret it.

Whew! Watched the videos (that first one had me worried)

If I had a Jeep, it would look a lot like that! Very cool! While I prefer fast cars, but someday I'd love to add a Jeep to the stable.

I like them. More off the pavement than on a paved road.

Rubi, if your serious about it...take it on the Interstate at 80 mph for awhile then drive into some traffic. If it passes those favorably...make space in the garage (for it's nap time).

Jeeps can do 80mph???

I am not a jeep guy (that might get me stoned around here it appears), I'd go so far as to say I have generally been disappointed by them every time I have experienced them, in particular my buddy's Jeep Grand Cherokee during college which was an expensive piece of junk in my opinion. I personally would much rather have something like a Ford Raptor or even a Toyota TRD.

All that being said, that is a very good looking Jeep above.
