Out of reach folders

what you do is take any cash you get from Bday or Christmas whatever and pool it when you have enough just consider it a gift from everyone you got cash from then its not a matter of you spending it on 1 blade :) that's what im doing for the wicked edge pro 2 im saving for hehehe this way nothing is really out of reach

Well, thanks to some kind words of advice from Locutus, I just bought my first Sebenza! Dream knife achieved! That is, until I start eyeing even more expensive knives... :p

I feel guilty - I contaminated you with the knife enthusiast disease. No known cure except bankruptcy.:)

A Laconico Blast 2 or a Hinderer XM-18. Hinderer due to ridiculous secondary prices and Blast 2 because of selling in one minute.

So what about the xm18 makes it so popular, i hear about it everywhere, yet i don't see anything too special, although, with its price, there probably is something good in it.
Not trying to sound inflamatory, just curious.

Personally, I find almost every line of that beast to be sexy. I think most people fell in love with the aesthetics well before they ever handled it, but I could be wrong. I prefer other knives from a utilitarian standpoint though.

My out of reach knives would be almost any integral titanium folder (Scott Cook, Michael Raymond, Brad Southard).
Or an Andrew Demko AD-10.
Or a Tom Mayo something.
Or anything in SM-100.
And heck, why not throw in some crazy fantasy knife by Gil Hibben. (picture)

@ Veni Vedi Vici, they are pure, functional, perfection. I am fortunate enough to have a XM-18. I am able to buy from Hinderer directly. They are all you need, and nothing you don't. They open like a fat kid eating a butter stick. They have a "feel" that has to be experienced to be believed. The secondary market is insane, but they are amazing knives. EVERY OTHER knife in my collection has been sidelined in favor of this knife. They are that good.

A slightly smaller Zt 0560. The knife is fan-freakin'-tastic, just a hair too large for my tastes. My sights aren't set very high, but they are set somewhere I can reach without winning the lottery. Yes, I know the 566 is smaller, but I am not a fan of assists, and LOVE me some bearings.

The Curtiss F3 is my current object of desire. Not permanently out of reach (I hope), but at least for now. I've just spent the last 2 hours watching youtube videos of it!

TAD Southard Dauntless for me... I can never justify spending that kind of money, and luckily they're rather rare so less temptations.

Sounds like something id want to hold at least once, but ya, im not really into the looks, but the price and how highly its spoken of, definently sounds like a real high end user.

Yet another dream switch, its now a damascus kershaw shallot with custom extra grippy white g10 with a red spacer, it doesnt exist yet, just an idea, so its my dream folder
